II 119th CONGRESS 1st Session S. 2103 IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES June 18, 2025 Mrs. Gillibrand (for herself, Mr. Fetterman , Mr. Blumenthal , Mr. King , Ms. Smith , Mr. Warner , Mr. Schiff , Mr. Booker , and Mr. Durbin ) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry A BILL To amend the Department of Agriculture Reorganization Act of 1994 to authorize mandatory funding for the Healthy Food Financing Initiative. 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Healthy Food Financing Initiative Reauthorization Act of 2025 . 2. Healthy Food Financing Initiative Section 243 of the Department of Agriculture Reorganization Act of 1994 ( 7 U.S.C. 6953 ) is amended by striking subsection (d) and inserting the following: (d) Funding Of the funds of the Commodity Credit Corporation, the Secretary shall use to carry out this section— (1) $25,000,000 for fiscal year 2025; (2) $30,000,000 for fiscal year 2026; (3) $35,000,000 for fiscal year 2027; (4) $40,000,000 for fiscal year 2028; and (5) $50,000,000 for fiscal year 2029 and each fiscal year thereafter. .
