1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Healthy Food Financing Initiative Reauthorization Act of 2025 .

2Healthy Food Financing Initiative

This section would replace the funding subsection of section 243 of the Department of Agriculture Reorganization Act of 1994 (7 U.S.C. 6953), which covers the Healthy Food Financing Initiative. Under the new funding rule, the Secretary would be required to use money from the Commodity Credit Corporation to carry out the Initiative at these set levels: $25,000,000 for fiscal year 2025, $30,000,000 for fiscal year 2026, $35,000,000 for fiscal year 2027, $40,000,000 for fiscal year 2028, and $50,000,000 for fiscal year 2029 and every fiscal year after that.

Healthy Food Financing Initiative Section 243 of the Department of Agriculture Reorganization Act of 1994 ( 7 U.S.C. 6953 ) is amended by striking subsection (d) and inserting the following: (d) Funding Of the funds of the Commodity Credit Corporation, the Secretary shall use to carry out this section— (1) $25,000,000 for fiscal year 2025; (2) $30,000,000 for fiscal year 2026; (3) $35,000,000 for fiscal year 2027; (4) $40,000,000 for fiscal year 2028; and (5) $50,000,000 for fiscal year 2029 and each fiscal year thereafter. .
