(b) STTR Section 9(n)(1)(A) of the Small Business Act ( 15 U.S.C. 638(n)(1)(A) ) is amended by striking through fiscal year 2025 and inserting though fiscal year 2026 .

2Extension of SBIR and STTR programs and activities

This section would extend by one year, to 2026, the authorization periods for ten specific SBIR and STTR pilot programs and related activities under the Small Business Act. The phase flexibility pilot program, currently authorized through 2025, would be authorized through 2026. The commercialization readiness program for civilian agencies pilot program would be authorized through fiscal year 2026 instead of fiscal year 2025. The accelerated awards pilot program would be authorized through September 30, 2026, instead of September 30, 2025.
