1: Short title
This section would give the Act its short title: the Enhancing Science, Treatment, and Upkeep of America's Resilient and Important Estuarine Systems Act, also called the ESTUARIES Act.

1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Enhancing Science, Treatment, and Upkeep of America’s Resilient and Important Estuarine Systems Act or the ESTUARIES Act .
2: National Estuary Program
This section would amend section 320(i)(1) of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act (33 U.S.C. 1330(i)(1)) by replacing the year 2026 with 2031 in the text before subparagraph (A), extending the authorization for the National Estuary Program from 2026 through 2031.

2. National Estuary Program Section 320(i)(1) of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act ( 33 U.S.C. 1330(i)(1) ), in the matter preceding subparagraph (A), is amended by striking 2026 and inserting 2031 .
