This bill would require the Parks Department to repair damage caused by trees planted by the city of New York to sidewalks, roads, and private property as a result of overgrowth and lack of pruning.

This bill would allow a business entity registered by the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as a tobacco bar to seek the transfer of its registration, as well as a one-time transfer of its tobacco retail dealer license, upon a showing of financial hardship and that registration for a new location is warranted, to operate within the same or a different community district..

This bill would require certain developers of economic development projects receiving $1 million or more in financial assistance from the City or a City economic development entity to provide prevailing wages to workers performing construction work at such economic development projects..

This bill would prohibit high-volume for-hire vehicle services (“for-hire vehicle services”) from deactivating high-volume for-hire vehicle drivers (“drivers”), unless due to just cause, a bona fide economic reason, or if required to by law.

This bill would expand the number of licenses that are available to vend food and merchandise on the sidewalks of New York City.

This bill would clarify how employers determine the range of pay they would offer for a posted position.

This bill would require the Department of Correction, in coordination with Correctional Health Services, to establish and maintain written protocols related to the identification, screening, referral, monitoring, and follow-up care of pregnant or postpartum individuals with mental health needs.

This bill would require housing developers of certain housing development projects that receive city financial assistance to pay their workers a minimum combined wage and essential benefits package of at least $40 per hour with no less than $25 of that package being wages.

This bill would require biennial inspections of steam radiators located in apartments where a child under 6 resides and in the common areas of such buildings.
