An Act to amend 20.835 (2) (de) of the statutes; relating to: an appropriation for refundable long-term care insurance assessment credits and making an appropriation. Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau This bill provides a sum sufficient appropriation to authorize refundable credit payments for the long-term care insurance assessment credit created by 2025 Assembly Bill .... (LRB-5462/1). If 2025 Assembly Bill .... (LRB-5462/1) is not enacted into law, then this bill is void. For further information see the state fiscal estimate, which will be printed as an appendix to this bill. The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows: Section 1. 20.835 (2) (de) of the statutes, as created by 2025 Wisconsin Act .... (2025 Assembly Bill .... (LRB-5462/1)), is amended to read: 20.835 (2) (de) Long-term care insurance assessment credit. The amounts in the schedule A sum sufficient to make the payments under ss. 71.07 (12) (d) 2., 71.28 (12) (d) 2., 71.47 (12) (d) 2., and 76.633 (4). Section 2. Nonstatutory provisions. (1) Reconciliation provision. (a) If 2025 Assembly Bill .... (LRB-5462/1), or any other 2025 bill whose content is identical to the content of 2025 Assembly Bill .... (LRB-5462/1), is enacted into law, then this act takes effect on the effective date of the first of those bills that is enacted into law or on the effective date of this paragraph, whichever is later. (b) If par. (a) does not apply, then this act is void. (end)
