1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Lobbying Disclosure Improvement Act .

2Registrant disclosure regarding foreign agent registration exemption

This section would amend section 4(b) of the Lobbying Disclosure Act of 1995 to add a new paragraph (8) to the list of information that a lobbying registrant must include in its registration statement. Under the new paragraph, a registrant would have to state whether it is exempt under section 3(h) of the Foreign Agents Registration Act of 1938, as amended (22 U.S.C. 613(h)). To fit the new paragraph into the list, the section also changes the punctuation at the end of the two paragraphs right before it. Paragraph (6) would end with a semicolon instead of "; and", removing the word "and" from that paragraph. Paragraph (7) would end with "; and" instead of a period, so paragraph (7) now leads into the new paragraph (8) instead of ending the list.
