This section would make two technical corrections to the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2026 (Public Law 119-60). First, it would replace the wording of subsection (a)(1)(B) of section 806 of title 10, United States Code (article 6 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice), as that subsection was added by section 561(a) of the 2026 Act. Under the replacement wording, one of the qualifications listed in that subsection for a judge advocate would be that the person maintains a license status in good standing that provides eligibility to practice law. Second, it would remove the word 'posthumous' from the heading of section 592 of the 2026 Act, which authorizes the award of the distinguished-service cross to Isaac Ike Camacho for acts of valor in Vietnam. This correction changes only the wording of that section's heading; it does not change the text of section 592 itself.
