The project would consist of building a new bed tower, expanding the clinical building, building a consolidated administrative building and warehouse, building a utility plant, and building parking garages. The total cost of the project may not exceed $1,762,668,000. The section would also authorize $1,762,668,000 to be appropriated to the Secretary of Veterans Affairs for the Construction, Major Projects account, for fiscal year 2026 or the year in which funds are appropriated, to pay for this project.
