1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Colorado River Basin System Conservation Extension Act .
2: Reauthorization of Colorado River System conservation pilot program
This section would amend Section 206 of the Energy and Water Development and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2015 (43 U.S.C. 620 note; Public Law 113-235), the law that set up the Colorado River System conservation pilot program, in three ways. In subsection (b)(2), it would update the reference to the authorizing Act so that it points to this Act, the Colorado River Basin System Conservation Extension Act, instead of the 2015 appropriations Act. In subsection (c)(2), it would move a 2024 date to 2026. In subsection (d), it would move a 2025 date to 2027. Together these changes extend the pilot program's authorization by two years.

2.
