To reauthorize the Fort Peck Reservation Rural Water System Act of 2000.

This section would change section 9 of the Fort Peck Reservation Rural Water System Act of 2000 (Public Law 106-382; also cited at 114 Stat. 1457, 123 Stat. 2856, 128 Stat. 164, and 132 Stat. 2906). In subsection (a)(1) and in subsection (b) of that section 9, it would replace the year 2026 with the year 2028 everywhere it appears. The practical effect is to extend by two years, from 2026 to 2028, whatever time limit or authorization period section 9 sets in those two subsections for the Fort Peck Reservation Rural Water System Act of 2000.
