1: Elimination of requirements concerning the Republic of Cyprus

This section would amend two existing laws that affect the Republic of Cyprus. First, it would change section 1250A of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2020, which the bill describes as covering limitations and exclusions on defense articles for Cyprus. It would rename that section's heading from wording about a repeal of a prohibition to wording about a sense of Congress, and it would drop the subsection label and heading that currently mark off subsection (a) ("Sense of Congress"), so the phrase "It is the sense of Congress that" becomes the section's lead-in text rather than a separately labeled subsection. It would then remove subsections (b), (c), and (d) of that section entirely, eliminating the limitations and exclusions on defense articles that those subsections had set out.
