1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Prioritizing Veterans’ Survivors Act .
2: Clarification of organization of the Office of Survivors Assistance of the Department of Veterans Affairs
This section would change section 321(a) of title 38, United States Code, so that it places the Office of Survivors Assistance within the Office of the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, rather than describing its location only as being in the Department of Veterans Affairs generally. The change is made by removing the phrase "in the Department" from that section and putting "in the Office of the Secretary" in its place.
