What it does
Education, Dept. of - As enacted, requires the department to implement a transition plan to close the achievement school district (ASD) and to release all schools currently assigned to the ASD before the start of the 2026-2027 school year; requires the department to establish a different intervention system for priority schools; makes related changes. - Amends TCA Title 49. SB1273 has been assigned Public Chapter Number 464 by the Secretary of State.
