What it does
Human Rights - As enacted, schedules the Tennessee human rights commission for termination on July 1, 2025, and transfers the commission's duties concerning discrimination in employment, housing, public accommodations, malicious harassment, the Civil Rights Act of 1990, the "Tennessee Anti-Slapp Act," and education to the attorney general and reporter. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 8 and Title 68. Companion bill has been assigned Public Chapter Number 471 by the Secretary of State.
