What it does

Morgan County - Subject to local approval, establishes that the County Attorney must be a licensed practicing attorney appointed or hired subject to the vote of the Morgan County Commission to serve a four-year term and does not need to be a resident of Morgan County to serve as County Attorney. - Amends Chapter 467 of the Private Acts of 1951; as amended. Companion bill has been assigned Private Chapter Number 10 by the Secretary of State.
