Susan Sosnowski Date Introduced: June 09, 2026 Referred To: Placed on the Senate Consent Calendar 1 RESOLVED, That the special legislative commission created by resolution No. 378 2 passed by the Senate at its January session, A.D. 2024, and approved June 13, 2024, entitled 3 Senate Resolution Creating a Special Legislative Commission to Study Renewable Energy 4 Programs”, and as extended and amended by resolution No. 141 passed by the Senate at its 5 January session, A.D., 2025, and approved March 11, 2025, entitled “Senate Resolution 6 Extending the Reporting Date and Amending the Language of the Special Legislative 7 Commission to Study Renewable Energy Programs” and as further extended and amended by 8 resolution No. 374 passed by the Senate at its January session, A.D. 2025, and approved June 20, 9 2025, entitled “Senate Resolution Extending the Reporting Date and Amending the Language of 10 the Special Legislative Commission to Study Renewable Energy Programs” is hereby further 11 authorized to continue its study and make a report to the Senate on or before January 31, 2027, 12 and said commission shall expire on February 27, 2027; and be it further 13 RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by resolution No. 374 passed by the 14 Senate at its January session, A.D. 2025, and approved June 20, 2025, be and the same is hereby 15 rescinded. ======== LC006589 ======== EXPLANATION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF S E N A T E R E S O L U T I O N EXTENDING THE REPORTING DATE AND AMENDING THE LANGUAGE OF THE SPECIAL LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION TO STUDY RENEWABLE ENERGY PROGRAMS *** 1 This resolution would extend the reporting and expiration dates of the special legislative 2 commission to study renewable energy programs from February 13, 2026, to January 31, 2027, 3 and said commission would expire on February 27, 2027. ======== LC006589 ======== LC006589 - Page 2 of 2
