Zurier Date Introduced: June 02, 2026 Referred To: Placed on the Senate Consent Calendar 1 RESOLVED, That the special legislative commission created by resolution No. 313 2 passed by the Senate at its January session, A.D. 2025, and approved May 15, 2025, entitled 3 Senate Resolution Creating a Special Legislative Commission To Study and Provide 4 Recommendations for Potential Changes in Legislation/Oversight of The Act on Climate is 5 hereby authorized to continue its study and make a report to the Senate on or before May 1, 2027, 6 and said commission shall expire on June 1, 2027; and be it further 7 RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by resolution No. 313 passed by the 8 Senate at its January session, A.D. 2025, and approved May 15, 2025, be and the same is hereby 9 rescinded. ======== LC006466 ======== EXPLANATION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF S E N A T E R E S O L U T I O N EXTENDING THE REPORTING AND EXPIRATION DATES OF THE SPECIAL LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION TO STUDY AND PROVIDE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR POTENTIAL CHANGES IN LEGISLATION/OVERSIGHT OF THE ACT ON CLIMATE *** 1 This resolution would extend the reporting and expiration dates of the special legislative 2 commission to study and provide recommendations for potential changes in legislation/oversight 3 of the Act on Climate from May 1, 2026, to May 1, 2027, and said commission would expire on 4 June 1, 2027. ======== LC006466 ======== LC006466 - Page 2 of 2
