S3314 2026 -- S 3314 ======== LC006522 ======== STATE OF RHODE ISLAND IN GENERAL ASSEMBLY JANUARY SESSION, A.D. 2026 ____________ A N A C T RELATING TO SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES Introduced By: Senator V. Susan Sosnowski Date Introduced: May 22, 2026 Referred To: Senate Judiciary It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, Kimberley 2 Gaffett may join Bonnie Phyllis Nolan and David Gaffett Spier in marriage within the Town of 3 New Shoreham, on or about October 3, 2026. Kimberley Gaffett is hereby authorized and 4 empowered to join the foregoing persons in marriage pursuant to and in accordance with Chapter 5 3 of Title 15 of the General Laws, entitled “Solemnization of Marriages.” 6 SECTION 2.
