H8637 2026 -- H 8637 ======== LC006594 ======== STATE OF RHODE ISLAND IN GENERAL ASSEMBLY JANUARY SESSION, A.D. 2026 ____________ H O U S E R E S O L U T I O N THANKING REPRESENTATIVE ROBERT BOB QUATTROCCHI FOR HIS DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF RHODE ISLAND Introduced By: Representatives Chippendale, Kazarian, Nardone, Roberts, Fascia, Place, Paplauskas, Hopkins, Santucci, and Newberry Date Introduced: June 11, 2026 Referred To: House read and passed (`) 1 WHEREAS, The Honorable Robert Bob Quattrocchi has served with distinction as the 2 State Representative for District 41, representing the residents of Scituate and a portion of 3 Cranston since first taking office in January of 2017; and 4 WHEREAS, Throughout his tenure in the Rhode Island House of Representatives, 5 Representative Quattrocchi earned the respect of colleagues and constituents alike through his 6 dedication to public service, thoughtful deliberation, and steadfast commitment to the people he 7 was elected to serve; and 8 WHEREAS, Recognized for his leadership abilities and commitment to his caucus, 9 Representative Quattrocchi served as Deputy Minority Leader and Deputy Minority Whip, 10 providing guidance, support, and institutional knowledge to his fellow legislators; and 11 WHEREAS, During his service in the General Assembly, Representative Quattrocchi 12 served as a member of the House Committee on Oversight, the House Committee on Municipal 13 Government and Housing, and the Committee on Special Legislation, and also contributed his 14 time and expertise as a member of the House Study Commission on Geo Engineering and the 15 Multi-Unit Housing Recycling Program Study Commission; and 16 WHEREAS, Representative Quattrocchi was known for approaching legislative matters 17 with diligence and careful consideration, drawing upon his experiences as a small business 18 owner, community volunteer, husband, father, and lifelong Rhode Island resident when 19 evaluating issues affecting the State and its citizens; and 1 WHEREAS, A proud fourth-generation Rhode Islander and longtime resident of Scituate, 2 Representative Quattrocchi consistently advocated for the interests of his constituents while 3 working to strengthen the quality of life in the communities he represented; and 4 WHEREAS, As a legislator, Representative Quattrocchi devoted himself to promoting 5 accountable, transparent, and efficient government and remained committed to ensuring that the 6 voices and concerns of Rhode Islanders were heard throughout the legislative process; and 7 WHEREAS, Beyond his legislative service, Representative Quattrocchi has been an 8 active and engaged member of his community, supporting numerous civic, charitable, 9 educational, and youth organizations, including the Scituate Lions Club, local libraries, youth 10 sports programs, school activities, and community events; and 11 WHEREAS, A graduate of the American Motorcycle Institute in Daytona, Florida, 12 Representative Quattrocchi successfully owned and operated Rhode Island small businesses and 13 brought an entrepreneurial perspective and strong work ethic to his public service; and 14 WHEREAS, His dedication to his community was recognized in 2020 when he was 15 named the Sons and Daughters of Italy Vince Lombardi Lodge Man of the Year, an honor 16 reflecting his many contributions to the residents of Scituate and the surrounding area; and 17 WHEREAS, As Representative Quattrocchi concludes his final legislative session, it is 18 fitting that this House recognizes his years of faithful service, his commitment to his constituents, 19 and the many contributions he has made to the State of Rhode Island; now, therefore be it 20 RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island hereby 21 expresses its sincere gratitude to Representative Robert Bob Quattrocchi for his dedicated 22 service in the Rhode Island General Assembly, congratulates him on his years of 23 accomplishments on behalf of the people of District 41 and the State of Rhode Island, and 24 extends its heartfelt best wishes for continued health, happiness, and success in all his future 25 endeavors; and be it further 26 RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to 27 transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to the Honorable Robert Bob Quattrocchi. ======== LC006594 ======== LC006594 - Page 2 of 2
