H7669 2026 -- H 7669 ======== LC005073 ======== STATE OF RHODE ISLAND IN GENERAL ASSEMBLY JANUARY SESSION, A.D. 2026 ____________ A N A C T RELATING TO ELECTIONS -- CONDUCT OF ELECTION AND VOTING EQUIPMENT, AND SUPPLIES Introduced By: Representatives J. Brien, Corvese, Chippendale, Noret, and Hopkins Date Introduced: February 11, 2026 Referred To: House State Government & Elections It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: 1 SECTION 1. Chapter 17-19 of the General Laws entitled Conduct of Election and Voting 2 Equipment, and Supplies is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: 3 17-19-24.4. Early voting. 4 Early voting shall be limited to a total of ten (10) nonconsecutive days preceding election 5 day and shall include the weekend days immediately preceding the election and eight (8) weekdays. 6 SECTION 2.
