H7434 2026 -- H 7434 ======== LC004030 ======== STATE OF RHODE ISLAND IN GENERAL ASSEMBLY JANUARY SESSION, A.D. 2026 ____________ A N A C T RELATING TO ELECTIONS -- CONDUCT OF ELECTION AND VOTING EQUIPMENT, AND SUPPLIES Introduced By: Representatives Giraldo, Kazarian, Fogarty, Speakman, Alzate, Diaz, Stewart, and Cruz Date Introduced: January 30, 2026 Referred To: House Judiciary It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: 1 SECTION 1. Chapter 17-19 of the General Laws entitled Conduct of Election and Voting 2 Equipment, and Supplies is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: 3 17-19-55. Voting interference. 4 No federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement employees, agents or officials shall be 5 permitted within two hundred feet (200 ) of any polling place at which voting is being conducted. 6 SECTION 2.
