7   An Act relating to the Ethics Commission; requiring

7   Ethics Commission to promulgate certain rules;

8   defining term; providing for codification; and

8   providing an effective date.

11 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

12  SECTION 1.     NEW LAW  A new section of law to be codified

12

13 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 4263 of Title 74, unless there
13

14 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
14

15  A. The Ethics Commission shall promulgate rules to require the

15

16 reporting of expenditures for municipal ballot measure
16

17 communications. Such rules shall be similar to existing rules for
17

18 the reporting of state question communications.
18

19  B. As used in this section, "municipal ballot measure" means an

19

20 initiative or referendum, as provided for in Section 15-101 et seq.
20

21 of Title 11 of the Oklahoma Statutes.
21

22  SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
