7 An Act relating to fish and wildlife; limiting the
7 number of quail to be harvested each day; exempting
8 certain hunting areas; providing for codification;
8 and providing an effective date.

11 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

12 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
12
13 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 5-401.1 of Title 29, unless
13
14 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

15 A. Pursuant to Section 5-401 of Title 29 of the Oklahoma
15
16 Statutes, the Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Commission shall limit
16
17 a person licensed to hunt and harvest quail in this state to bag or
17
18 possess seven (7) quail per day.
18
19 B. The provisions of this section shall not apply to persons
19
20 licensed to hunt and harvest upland game in a commercial hunting
20
21 area.

22 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
