6 An Act relating to water quality; directing creation
6 of centralized hotline for water quality concerns;
7 providing for rule promulgation; providing for
7 codification; and providing an effective date.

10 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

11 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
11
12 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 2-6-121 of Title 27A, unless
12
13 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

14 A. The Office of the Attorney General shall establish a
14
15 centralized statewide hotline for the reporting of water quality
15
16 concerns. The Office shall coordinate with the Department of
16
17 Environmental Quality to investigate complaints and conduct any
17
18 water quality sampling, testing, and enforcement measures deemed
18
19 necessary.

20 B. The Office of the Attorney General may promulgate rules to
20
21 effectuate the provisions of this section.

22 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
