7 An Act relating to county employee leave; authorizing
7 board of county commissioners to develop certain
8 policy; allowing county employees to use certain
8 leave to serve as certain election officials;
9 providing for codification; and providing an
9 effective date.

13 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

14 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
14
15 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 180.91 of Title 19, unless there
15
16 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

17 The board of county commissioners may develop a policy in
17
18 accordance with the secretary of the county election board to
18
19 authorize county employees to receive up to three (3) working days'
19
20 paid administrative leave per calendar year for the purpose of
20
21 serving as a precinct official pursuant to Section 2-124 of Title 26
21
22 of the Oklahoma Statutes, absentee voting board member pursuant to
22
23 Section 14-115.5 of Title 26 of the Oklahoma Statutes, or other
23

1 election worker authorized by law, if the employee is qualified to

2 serve in such position.

3 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
