7   An Act relating to schools; directing school

7   districts to electronically submit certain quarterly

8   report by certain day; providing for contents of

8   report; requiring report to be posted on school

9   district's website within certain time period;

9   providing for promulgation of rules; providing for

10  codification; providing an effective date; and

10  declaring an emergency.

13 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

14  SECTION 1.     NEW LAW   A new section of law to be codified

14

15 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1-126 of Title 70, unless there
15

16 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
16

17  A. Beginning January 31, 2026, and on the last day of the month

17

18 following each fiscal year quarter, each school district in this
18

19 state shall electronically submit to the Governor, the President Pro
19

20 Tempore of the Senate, and the Speaker of the House of
20

21 Representatives a report detailing all federal funds received by the
21

22 school district for that quarter. The report shall include the
22

23 source of funds, the intended purpose of the funds, and how the
23

24 school district expended the funds.

1   B. The report required by subsection A of this section shall be

2 posted on the school district's website with ten (10) days of the
2

3 submission required by subsection A of this section.
3

4   C. The State Board of Education may promulgate rules to monitor

4

5 compliance with the provisions of this section.
5

6   SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2025.

6

7   SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation

7

8 of the public peace, health, or safety, an emergency is hereby
8

9 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
9

10 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
