6   An Act relating to county assessors; requiring

6   municipalities in certain counties to submit certain

7   permit to county assessors; providing for

7   codification; and providing an effective date.

10 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

11  SECTION 1.     NEW LAW        A new section of law to be codified

11

12 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 301 of Title 19, unless there is
12

13 created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
13

14  Upon the effective date of this act, a municipality of this

14

15 state located within a county with a population of more than four
15

16 hundred fifty thousand (450,000) according to the latest Federal
16

17 Decennial Census shall transmit a copy of any building permit issued
17

18 within its boundaries to the county assessor no later than thirty
18

19 (30) days after the date of issuance. A municipality shall provide
19

20 the county assessor with electronic copies of building permits,
20

21 where available and feasible.

22  SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
