7 An Act relating to the Legislature; amending 74 O.S.
7 2021, Section 452.5, which relates to assistance and
8 cooperation of state entities; requiring certain
8 statement with proposed legislation; specifying
9 information to be included in certain statement;
9 providing exception; and providing an effective date.

12 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

13 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 74 O.S. 2021, Section 452.5, is
13
14 amended to read as follows:
14
15 Section 452.5. A. The officials and employees of all entities
15
16 of the state are hereby directed to aid, assist and cooperate fully
16
17 with the Legislative Service Bureau in its performance of all audits
17
18 and other functions.
18
19 B. All proposed legislation requested by an agency of this
19
20 state shall include an agency request statement. The statement
20
21 shall designate which agency requested the legislation, the name of
21
22 the primary contact of the agency, and a brief description of the
22
23 need for the legislation as provided by the agency. No such
23
24 statement shall be required for proposed legislation that is not

1 requested by a state agency or an employee, lobbyist, or

2 representative of the agency.

3 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
