7   An Act relating to the practice of pharmacy;

7   designating certain drugs as over-the-counter;

8   prohibiting pharmacist or pharmacy from requiring

8   prescription; providing penalties; providing for

9   codification; and providing an effective date.

1 1 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

12  SECTION 1.     NEW LAW  A new section of law to be codified

12

1 3 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 353.22.1 of Title 59, unless

13

1 4 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

14

15  Chloroquine, hydroxychloroquine, and ivermectin shall be over-

15

1 6 the-counter drugs and a pharmacist or pharmacy shall not require a

16

1 7 prescription for the purchase of such drugs. If the State Board of

17

1 8 Pharmacy finds that a pharmacist or pharmacy is in violation of this

18

1 9 section, the Board shall immediately revoke the license of the

19

2 0 pharmacist or pharmacy and fine the pharmacist or pharmacy One

20

2 1 Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) per occurrence.

22  SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
