7 An Act relating to memorial highway and bridge
7 designations; designating the PFC Lewis Othel
8 Branscum Memorial Bridge; providing for codification;
8 and providing an effective date.

11 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

12 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
12
13 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1698.468 of Title 69, unless
13
14 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

15 The bridge over the Kiamichi River on U.S. Highway 259
15
16 approximately one-half (1/2) mile south of the State Highway 63
16
17 intersection in Le Flore County shall be designated as the "PFC
17
18 Lewis Othel Branscum Memorial Bridge". The Department of
18
19 Transportation shall cause suitable permanent markers bearing that
19
20 name to be placed on the bridge.

21 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
