7 An Act relating to food products; prohibiting use of
7 certain substances in food products; requiring
8 promulgation of rules; providing for codification;
8 and providing an effective date.

11 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

12 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
12
13 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 5-400 of Title 2, unless there
13
14 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

15 A. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no person, firm,
15
16 association, corporation, or any other entity shall manufacture,
16
17 compound, brew, distill, produce, process, sell, deliver,
17
18 distribute, hold, offer, or expose for sale any of the following
18
19 substances as food additives or food color additives or any other
19
20 food product that contains any of the following substances:

21 1. Blue dye 1;

22 2. Blue dye 2;

23 3. Brominated vegetable oil;

24 4. Green dye 3;

2 6. Propylparaben;

3 7. Red dye 3;

4 8. Red dye 40;

5 9. Titanium dioxide;

6 10. Yellow dye 5; or

7 11. Yellow dye 6.

8 B. The State Board of Agriculture shall promulgate rules to
8
9 enforce compliance with the provisions set forth in subsection A of
9
10 this section.

11 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
