6 An Act relating to fish and wildlife; limiting the
6 number of whitetail deer harvested each year;
7 exempting certain hunting areas; providing for
7 codification; and providing an effective date.

10 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

11 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
11
12 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 5-401.1 of Title 29, unless
12
13 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

14 A. Pursuant to Section 5-401 of Title 29 of the Oklahoma
14
15 Statutes, the Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Commission shall limit
15
16 a person licensed to hunt and harvest whitetail deer in this state
16
17 to bag or possess no more than one (1) antlered whitetail deer per
17
18 year.

19 B. The provisions of this section shall not apply to persons
19
20 licensed to hunt and harvest whitetail deer in a commercial hunting
20
21 area.

22 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
