7 An Act relating to agriculture; amending 2 O.S. 2021,
7 Section 5-60.6, which relates to authority to
8 promulgate rules by the Oklahoma Department of
8 Agriculture, Food, and Forestry; requiring rules to
9 allow out-of-state poultry processors to be used; and
9 providing an effective date.

12 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

13 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 2 O.S. 2021, Section 5-60.6, is
13
14 amended to read as follows:

15 Section 5-60.6. The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food,
15
16 and Forestry is authorized to promulgate rules as necessary to carry
16
17 out the provisions of this act, including rules that permit the
17
18 utilization of out-of-state poultry processing plants if in-state
18
19 options are not available.

20 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2026.
