7 An Act relating to child care; requiring licensed
7 child care facilities to ensure absence of certain
8 content in specified materials; providing for
8 corrective and administrative action; authorizing
9 promulgation of rules; providing for codification;
9 and providing an effective date.

12 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

13 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
13
14 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 405.6 of Title 10, unless there
14
15 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

16 A. A licensed child care facility shall ensure that no print or
16
17 nonprint materials or multimedia resources located on the premises
17
18 of the facility contain any content related to sexual orientation or
18
19 gender identity.

20 B. A child care facility found by the Department of Human
20
21 Services to be in violation of subsection A of this section after
21
22 complaint and investigation shall be subject to corrective and
22
23 administrative action as provided by Sections 406 and 407 of Title
23
24 10 of the Oklahoma Statutes.

1 C. The Director of Human Services may promulgate rules as

2 necessary to implement the provisions of this section.

3 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
