7   An Act relating to child care; requiring certain

7   child care facilities to ensure absence of certain

8   content in specified materials; making noncompliant

8   child care facilities ineligible for certain funding;

9   authorizing promulgation of rules; providing for

9   codification; and providing an effective date.

12 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

13  SECTION 1.       NEW LAW  A new section of law to be codified

13

14 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 405.6 of Title 10, unless there
14

15 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
15

16  A. A child care facility that receives funding through the

16

17 Department of Human Services including, but not limited to, through
17

18 the child care subsidy program shall ensure that no print or
18

19 nonprint materials or multimedia resources located on the premises
19

20 of the facility contain any content related to sexual orientation or
20

21 gender identity.

22  B. A child care facility found by the Department to be in

22

23 violation of subsection A of this section after complaint and
23

24 investigation under Section 406 of Title 10 of the Oklahoma Statutes

1 shall be ineligible for the child care subsidy program and any other

2 funding through the Department until such facility is determined to
2

3 be in compliance by the Department.

4   C. The Director of Human Services may promulgate rules as

4

5 necessary to implement the provisions of this section.

6   SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2025.
