7 An Act relating to hunting; allowing for fully
7 automatic weapons to be used for hunting purposes
8 solely in semi-automatic positions; providing for
8 codification; and providing an effective date.

11 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

12 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
12
13 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 5-201.1 of Title 29, unless
13
14 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

15 A person may utilize, for the purpose of killing or capturing
15
16 any game mammal, game bird, nongame bird, or exotic wildlife, a
16
17 fully automatic firearm solely in the semi-automatic position.

18 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2026.
