7 An Act relating to motor vehicles; defining term;
7 requiring certain report of traffic collision
8 involving an illegal alien; directing that certain
8 report be forwarded to the Department of Public
9 Safety; providing for certain publication of certain
9 report within certain time frame; providing for
10 codification; and providing an effective date.

13 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

14 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
14
15 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 40-102.1 of Title 47, unless
15
16 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

17 A. As used in this section, "illegal alien" means any person
17
18 not a citizen or national of the United States who willfully and
18
19 without permission enters and remains in the United States without
19
20 having first obtained legal authorization to enter such.
20
21 B. 1. Every law enforcement officer who, in the regular course
21
22 of duty, investigates or receives a report of a traffic collision
22
23 involving an illegal alien shall prepare a written report on the
23
24 collision on the standard collision report form supplied by the

1 Department of Public Safety. The report shall be forwarded by the

2 law enforcement agency preparing the report to the Department of
2
3 Public Safety within twenty (20) days of the collision.

4 2. The report of the collision shall be made available for
4
5 public viewing by the Department of Public Safety within ten (10)
5
6 days of the receipt of such.

7 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2026.
