6 An Act relating to the practice of pharmacy; defining
6 term; designating certain drug as over-the-counter;
7 providing for codification; and providing an
7 effective date.

10 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

11 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
11
12 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 353.22.1 of Title 59, unless
12
13 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

14 A. As used in this section, "over-the-counter medication" means
14
15 medication that may be legally sold and purchased without a
15
16 prescription.

17 B. Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, ivermectin suitable
17
18 for human use may be sold or purchased as an over-the-counter
18
19 medication in this state without a prescription or consultation with
19
20 a pharmacist or other health care professional licensed under Title
20
21 59 of the Oklahoma Statutes.

22 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2026.
