8 An Act relating to the Department of Corrections;
8 requiring certain inmate information be available to
9 the public; authorizing promulgation of rules;
9 providing for codification; and providing an
10 effective date.

14 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

15 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
15
16 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 568.1 of Title 57, unless there
16
17 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

18 A. The Department of Corrections shall make the following
18
19 information regarding inmates available to the public:
19
20 1. Any work, education, or other program the inmate has
20
21 participated in; and
21
22 2. Any disciplinary action the inmate has received.
22
23 B. The Department of Corrections shall promulgate rules to
23
24 effectuate the provisions of this section.

1 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2026.
