7   An Act relating to memorial highway and bridge

7   designations; designating the Charlie Kirk Memorial

8   Highway; providing for codification; and providing an

8   effective date.

11 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

12  SECTION 1.      NEW LAW  A new section of law to be codified

12

13 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1698.510 of Title 69, unless
13

14 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
14

15  The section of U.S. Highway 287 beginning at the intersection of

15

16 U.S. Highway 56, near Boise City, extending north to the Oklahoma-
16

17 Colorado state line in Cimmaron County shall be designated as the
17

18 "Charlie Kirk Memorial Highway". The Department of Transportation
18

19 shall cause suitable permanent markers bearing that name to be
19

20 placed on the bridge.

21  SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2026
