6 An Act relating to Teachers' Retirement System of
6 Oklahoma; providing for benefits increase; and
7 providing for codification.

9 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

10 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
10
11 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 17-116.23 of Title 70, unless
11
12 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

13 Any person receiving benefits from the Teachers' Retirement
13
14 System of Oklahoma as of June 30, 2025, who continues to receive
14
15 benefits on or after the effective date of this act, shall receive
15
16 an increase in benefits as follows:
16
17 1. Zero percent (0%) if the person has been retired for less
17
18 than two (2) years as of June 30, 2025;
18
19 2. Two percent (2%) if the person has been retired for at least
19
20 two (2) years but less than five (5) years as of June 30, 2025; and
20
21 3. Four percent (4%) if the person has been retired for five
21
22 (5) years or more as of June 30, 2025.
