7 An Act relating to electric service providers;
7 providing certain consumer choice; providing for
8 codification; and providing an effective date.

11 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

12 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
12
13 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 158.33 of Title 17, unless there
13
14 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

15 When a person's property straddles a boundary between, or is
15
16 divided by, two or more electric service providers, the person shall
16
17 be allowed to choose which electric service provider he or she would
17
18 like to contract with.

19 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2026.
