7   An Act relating to law enforcement; prohibiting

7   certain actions related to recordings; providing for

8   codification; and providing an effective date.

11 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

12  SECTION 1.      NEW LAW  A new section of law to be codified

12

13 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 2-151 of Title 47, unless there
13

14 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
14

15  Audio and video recordings from recording equipment attached to

15

16 law enforcement vehicles or associated audio recordings from
16

17 recording equipment on the person of a law enforcement officer shall
17

18 not be muted, paused, or disabled at any time while in the
18

19 performance of duties as a law enforcement officer.
19

20  SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2026.
