7 An Act relating to credit sales; defining terms;
7 prohibiting certain seller from imposing certain
8 surcharge; providing for codification; and providing
8 an effective date.

11 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

12 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
12
13 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 2-113 of Title 14A, unless there
13
14 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

15 A. As used in this section:
15
16 1. "Firearm entity" means the same as defined in Section
16
17 1289.31 of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes;
17
18 2. "Seller" means an entity that is registered with the United
18
19 States Department of the Treasury as a money transmitter pursuant to
19
20 31 C.F.R., Section 103.41, and that provides an electronic funds
20
21 transmission service, including service by telephone and the
21
22 Internet; and

23 3. "Surcharge" means the same as defined in Section 2-211 of
23
24 Title 14A of the Oklahoma Statutes.

1 B. No seller shall impose a surcharge or deny usage to any

2 consumer who conducts business with a firearm entity.

3 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2026.
