7 An Act relating to zoning; requiring certain
7 municipal bodies to include certain description of
8 certain meeting; requiring certain county bodies to
8 include certain description of certain meeting;
9 providing for codification; and providing an
9 effective date.

12 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

13 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
13
14 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 43-117 of Title 11, unless there
14
15 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

16 The municipal governing body, municipal zoning commission,
16
17 municipal board of adjustment, municipal planning commission, or
17
18 regional planning commission, in the agenda and minutes of any
18
19 meeting where any such body considers a proposed change or amendment
19
20 in zoning regulations, shall, in the agenda and minutes of such
20
21 meeting, include a brief description of the proposed change or
21
22 amendment. Such description shall clearly state the location and
22
23 purpose of the proposed change, in addition to any other information
23
24 deemed necessary by the municipal clerk.

4 The board of county commissioners, county planning commission,

5 county board of adjustment, or metropolitan area planning
5
6 commission, in the agenda and minutes of any meeting where any such
6
7 body considers a proposed change or amendment in zoning regulations,
7
8 shall, in the agenda and minutes of such meeting, include a brief
8
9 description of the proposed change or amendment. Such description
9
10 shall clearly state the location and purpose of the proposed change,
10
11 in addition to any other information deemed necessary by the county
11
12 clerk.

13 SECTION 3. This act shall become effective November 1, 2026.
