7   An Act relating to ad valorem tax; requiring the

7   disclosure of certain information by certain taxing

8   jurisdictions; prescribing disclosure requirements;

8   requiring certain county assessors and the Oklahoma

9   Tax Commission to provide certain assistance;

9   providing for codification; and providing an

10  effective date.

13 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

14  SECTION 1.        NEW LAW  A new section of law to be codified

14

15 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 2952 of Title 68, unless there
15

16 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
16

17  A. Every taxing jurisdiction that is apportioned funds provided

17

18 pursuant to the Ad Valorem Tax Code and Article X of the Oklahoma
18

19 Constitution shall annually disclose:

20  1. All exemptions, deductions, credits, and limitations on fair

20

21 cash value or assessed value on real and personal property within
21

22 the jurisdiction;

1   2. The revenue impact of any exemptions, deductions, credits,

2 and limitations on fair cash value or assessed value on real and
2

3 personal property within the jurisdiction; and
3

4   3. Expiration dates of any exemptions, deductions, credits, and

4

5 limitations on fair cash value or assessed value on real and
5

6 personal property within the jurisdiction and the justification to
6

7 continue them.

8   B. The county assessor of counties within the boundaries of the

8

9 taxing jurisdiction and the Ad Valorem Division of the Oklahoma Tax
9

10 Commission shall provide any assistance needed by the jurisdiction
10

11 to comply with the provisions of this section.

12  SECTION 2. This act shall become effective January 1, 2027.
