7 An Act relating to the state Medicaid program;
7 requiring the Oklahoma Health Care Authority and
8 contracted entities to adopt certain billing code for
8 specified claims; requiring certain reimbursement;
9 providing for codification; providing an effective
9 date; and declaring an emergency.

12 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

13 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
13
14 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 5025.1 of Title 63, unless there
14
15 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

16 A. The Oklahoma Health Care Authority and all contracted
16
17 entities shall adopt the Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System
17
18 (HCPCS) code G0330 for reimbursement of claims under the state
18
19 Medicaid program for facility fees for dental surgeries performed
19
20 under general anesthesia in operating rooms including, but not
20
21 limited to, ambulatory surgical centers when such surgeries are
21
22 performed on an individual with an intellectual or developmental
22
23 disability.

1 B. 1. The Authority shall establish a reasonable reimbursement

2 rate for the claims described in subsection A of this section that
2
3 reflects the actual cost of providing such services.
3
4 2. All contracted entities shall reimburse claims described in
4
5 subsection A of this section at not less than the rate established
5
6 by the Authority under paragraph 1 of this subsection.
6
7 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2026.
7
8 SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
8
9 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
9
10 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
10
11 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
