7 An Act relating to the State Department of Health;
7 making appropriations; stating purpose for certain
8 appropriations; providing an effective date; and
8 declaring an emergency.

11 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

12 SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the State Department
12
13 of Health from any monies not otherwise appropriated from the
13
14 General Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for the fiscal year
14
15 ending June 30, 2023, the sum of One Million One Hundred Thousand
15
16 Dollars ($1,100,000.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary for
16
17 the purpose of administering a public information campaign regarding
17
18 diabetes care and free or reduced-price diabetes supplies.
18
19 SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated to the State Department
19
20 of Health from any monies not otherwise appropriated from the
20
21 General Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for the fiscal year
21
22 ending June 30, 2023, the sum of Three Hundred Forty Thousand Two
22
23 Hundred Twenty-two Dollars ($340,222.00) to be administered to

1 federally qualified health centers as such term is defined pursuant

2 to Section 1-747.2 of Title 63 of the Oklahoma Statutes.

3 SECTION 3. This act shall become effective July 1, 2025.
3
4 SECTION 4. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
4
5 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
5
6 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
6
7 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
