8 An Act relating to the Corporation Commission;
8 requiring promulgation of rules regarding certain
9 rates; stating certain intent; providing for
9 codification; and providing an effective date.

14 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

15 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
15
16 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 265 of Title 17, unless there is
16
17 created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
17
18 A. The Corporation Commission shall promulgate rules allowing
18
19 public utilities to utilize usage-based rates when establishing rate
19
20 tariffs for customer classes.
20
21 B. It is the intention of the Legislature that this entire
21
22 section is an amendment to and alteration of Sections 18 through 34,
22
23 inclusive, of Article IX of the Oklahoma Constitution, as authorized
23
24 by Section 35 of Article IX of the Oklahoma Constitution.

1 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2026.
